Design and Premium Materials: The Quality of Lucite®

The acrylic used for the NYKE bathtub is Lucite®, a new generation material made from cast acrylic. Compared to coextruded sheets, Lucite offers better resistance to impacts and abrasion, uniform coloration throughout the thickness, and a non-porous, hygienic, and easy-to-clean surface. Its unalterability over time ensures no yellowing or fading. The bottom is further reinforced with HEAVY SHELL technology, which provides structural rigidity to the base. Controlled thermoforming ensures maximum stability at room temperature, avoiding thermal shocks that can cause micro-cracks. The result is a perfectly smooth surface, without an orange peel effect.

Technical Structure and Available Setups

The structure of the NYKE bathtub is characterized by a galvanized steel frame with 30×30 mm profiles, corrosion-resistant and detachable to facilitate transport and installation. It includes vertical threaded bars of 12 mm with height-adjustable feet and a side drain plug with chrome cover. Available setups include the COMPLETE BATHTUB, with reinforced acrylic shell and steel frame, and the COMPLETE BATHTUB WITH PANEL, which adds a wrapping front panel in white acrylic. Customize your bathtub with accessories such as ergonomic headrests, deck-mounted faucets, and a multicolor LED chromotherapy system for a unique sensory experience.
